HaCIRIC 10: Better healthcare through better infrastructure

This International Conference on 22-24 September brings together researchers and practitioners from across disciplines and countries to focus on key challenges in the provision of healthcare infrastructure for the 21st century.
Eighteen papers report on the latest research addressing a range of issues including how to plan innovative new infrastructure, how to manage its delivery and how to engage different stakeholders. We have international presentations from the USA, Germany, Scotland, Serbia, Sweden, Australia and Italy. This learning is invaluable at a time when governments around the world seek imaginative, innovative ways to achieve more with less.
The conference combines papers and posters reporting on new research, plus a panel discussion from academic and industry perspectives on the challenges of researching and delivering healthcare infrastructures. There will also be an opportunity to visit outstanding healthcare facilities.
HaCIRIC researches how to improve health outcomes through better planning, design and delivery of healthcare infrastructure and services. The Centre's collaborative research programme is a partnership of four existing research centres at Imperial College London and the Universities of Loughborough, Reading and Salford.
