Urban environmental health
The Urban Environmental Health network connects people, agencies and institutions working on environment related health issues in urban and peri-urban areas of the developing world. Established in 1992, the network strives towards increasing access to potable water supplies and improving environmental health in peri-urban settings.
The network sets out to provide practical, field-oriented information and support to network members. Voices from the City, the newsletter of the network, facilitates communication among practitioners working in peri-urban areas of developing countries.
Membership to the network is free of charge and open to any organisation or individual. Field practitioners, such as project managers, implementors and researchers are especially encouraged to join.
