Solid waste management recycling
This network is based on an informal collection of people involved in solid waste management in a number of developing and developed countries. Its main areas of interest will cover: recycling, composting, re-use, recovery, the informal sector, and the organisation of waste management. The network plans the following activities:
Prepare a list of researchers / field workers / practitioners working on different applied research topics within the subject. This list to be maintained and updated bi-annually, and to be made available to those enquiring about the network.
A quarterly newsletter is planned on the topic, which will contain brief reviews of current research in the network, and additions to the mailing list.
