Our programmesThe Department's degree programmes aim to provide both a fundamental understanding of physics and to prepare students for employment. You will be part of a small and friendly Department, which allows a more personal "open door" policy than many larger Departments. We offer a wide range of single- and joint-honours degree programmes, leading to the degrees of BSc or MPhys after three or four years of academic study. The joint programmes, taught in conjunction with leading Departments from all three Faculties of the University, are designed for those seeking a broader academic experience. The programmes are designed with flexibility in mind: it is possible to transfer between most of these programmes, in some cases as late as the start of the final year. In this way you can decide after you come to Loughborough whether you want to specialise in physics or broaden your studies. We offer a wide range of single- and joint-honours degree programmes, leading to the degree of:
