Welcome to the website of the new School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences (SSEHS). SSEHS was formally launched on 12 May 2009 by Her Royal Highness Princess Anne, and has been operational from the start of the 2009 academic year.

The new school is an amalgamation of two independent outstanding multi-disciplinary departments: Sport and Exercise Sciences and Human Sciences.

SSEHS has been created to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and expertise between nationally and internationally renowned staff for the teaching and research of sport, exercise and health disciplines.
