Professor Stuart Biddle delivered the Dr Jim Hay Memorial Lecture at the 2009 New Zealand Sport Science and Medicine Conference in Rotorua in November. He spoke about his work on sedentary behaviours in young people and delivered a symposium talk on physical activity and sedentary behaviour change in addition to an interactive workshop. -
Loughborough joins Japan in global $14m sports science programme

Human Biology rated number one

The School’s Human Biology undergraduate programme has been rated UK number one in the 2009 National Student Survey (NSS) with an overall satisfaction mark of 4.75 from a maximum of five. Forty six similar Institutions were assessed. -
